About Liberty Christian Academy

Liberty Christian Academy (LCA) is a fully accredited K4–12 private Christian school located in Liberty, Texas, operating under the direction of Cornerstone Church. We are accredited by the National Association of Private Schools (NAPS), ensuring that our academic program meets recognized standards for quality and accountability.

Our mission is to partner with parents to equip students to love Jesus with their whole heart for their whole life, while providing a solid academic foundation that prepares them to impact the world. We currently serve over 50 families from across Liberty County and surrounding areas.

Academic Program

LCA offers small class sizes with a low student-to-teacher ratio, meeting Monday through Thursday from 8:20 AM to 3:00 PM. We use the Abeka curriculum, taught from a Christian perspective, and emphasize mastery through the spiral review/scaffolding method—building on prior knowledge until each concept is fully understood.

Students engage in a full range of academic subjects, including:

• Phonics

Spiritual Development

Every day begins with Bible class, where students learn theology, scripture memorization, and songs to reinforce biblical truths. We hold weekly chapel services with worship and messages from pastors or school personnel, challenging students to live as faithful disciples who not only know Scripture but obey it.

Athletics & Activities

As a member of the Texas Christian Athletic Fellowship, LCA offers competitive opportunities for students in 5th grade and up, including boys’ and girls’ cross country, girls’ volleyball, boys’ basketball, and track. Students also participate in theater and one-act play competitions, with plans to expand our extracurricular programs each year.
